Slope and deflection of a non-constant EI shaft using EXCEL

Find the slope and deflection using EXCEL in the X-Z plane (plane of maximum bending) for the shaft
problem as presented in class Th 9-7-17 and Tu 9-12-17.

Use the diameter d=2.75 inches found from strength calculations in class.

Use E=30(106 ) psi.

Use Table 7-2 Text:

with θallowable =0.0008-0.0012 rad

and yallowable = 0.01 inch
