STEPS AND PROCEDURES
# ACTIVITY TIME
1  Students carry out their homework which was a shadowing exercises. First day
This activity will take the first hour of class.
 After break the teacher introduces the new vocabulary, has students
practicing their pronunciation and provides them with some exercises.
 Speaking task. Students will carry out a discussion in which they put
into practice the vocabulary previously introduced.
2  Teacher and students have a quick review of used to and carry out Day two
pair exercise asking and answering questions.
 The teacher provides students with an explanation about the past
perfect and provides them with some exercises.
 The teacher introduces the definite and zero article and provides
students with exercises.
 Teacher introduces indirect questions and has them performing a role-
play in which they sound very polite.
3  The third day will be devoted to speaking, fluency and pronunciation. Day three
 Students are given sets of questions regarding the content from the
unit. They will have to give concise responses to all of them.
 Students will create their own questions and will be asking them to
each other.
 Students go over each of the conversations from the units and will
role-play.
 Regarding pronunciation they will be corrected in a general way just

 Students create their own conversation by changing some
information. This activity will focus on fluency.
4  Day four will be devoted to listening. Day four
 Students will be given sets of words regarding the conversations from
the units. They will listen to them and will be giving responses orally.
 Students will work on the video activity from the unit as well
 Students carry out a listening quiz
 Students have a vocabulary quiz
 Students carry out a 4 minutes presentation.
 Their homework will be another shadowing exercise.
 Students in pairs will make up a product and create the advertisement
for it. They will explain in details what the product consists on and the
benefits for people.
