In chapter 1 the following issues must be reflected:

1. Introduction
a. Explain about your variables and the context of your study and the
importance of your study
2. Background of the Study in terms of the variables and the context of the study
a. Provide good literature regarding the variables in your study and the context
of your study
3. Statement of the Problem
a. Explain why the study is necessary to be conducted (you can say limited
number of studies or specify other problems)
4. Related Theories
a. For all the variables (except the demographic variables), you can find
theories in the book I sent to you. If your variables re not in the book, you
can search in the internet to find theories. For those which focus on is
change-oriented behaviors, a theory called tridimensional leadership is a
relevant theory)
5. Conceptual Framework
a. Just draw the conceptual framework and replace your variables in the
framework
6. Rationale of the Study
a. [explain based on what is already known and published in the literature of
your subject, does you planned study have a logical reasoning?]
7. Research Objectives
a. Follow my guidelines in the other word file I sent to you
8. Research Questions
a. Follow my guidelines in the other word file I sent to you
9. Significance of the Study
a. Explain if your study went well and yielded good quality results, how does
the result contribute to what is already known (academic significance)
and/or application in reality?]
10. Operational and Conceptual Definitions of Terms
a. Explain all the variables (except demographic variables) in your study
11. Limitations of the Study
a. Specify the limitation that you will face. One of the main limitations is this:
In any survey studies, the accuracy of the findings is a function of the
truthfulness and sincerity of the respondents. Hence, it has been assumed
that the respondents were honest in answering the questions and avoided
any bias to reflect other irrelevant issues.
