Study Guide
This study guide is intended to provide you with information to aid you in preparing to take
the Sage X3 Financial Consultant exam. Passing the exam is the only requirement to
achieve your Sage certifications.
The Sage X3 Financial Consultant Certification is designed for the Financial consultant;
however, not restricted to this group. Financial consultants are responsible for configuring
and understanding the Financials solution for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and
Accounts Receivable processes.
Recommended Steps
Log into Sage University and locate the Sage X3 Financial Consultant learning path
Follow the recommended optional training including viewing the Sage X3 Getting Started eLearning
course and attending the Sage X3 Common Tools and Sage X3 Financial Consultant courses.
Review and study any training curriculum provided by attending the recommended training
(Special Note: You do not have access to the training curriculum without attending the recommended
courses)
Use the Sage X3 solution to Practice! Practice! Practice!
Register for the Sage X3 Financial Consultant exam (no more than 30 days before intended exam
date)
On exam day, ensure you are in a quite area with no distractions and have a reliable internet
connection
Question Answer
How many questions will be asked in the exam? 90 questions
Using the tools and functions common to all Sage X3 modules (e.g. data extraction,
formulas, general parameters, personalizing inquiries, and workflows)
Basic understanding of financials including functions, features, and processing in
General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
Understanding of financial module functions such as automatic journals, customer
statements and reminders, and extracting financial data
