I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students must be able to:

 Demonstrates understanding of first aid principles and procedures


 Describe the importance of CPR as first response
 Demonstrate and perform CPR

II. Subject Matter

a. Topic: INJURY PREVENTION, SAFETY AND FIRST AID (Unintentional)


b. Reference: Learner’s material 9 (PE & Health)
c. Materials: Power point presentation

III. Procedure

A. PREPARATORY ACTIVITY

a. Prayer
b. Checking of attendance

B. MOTIVATION

a. The teacher will tell a short story about first aid emergency
b. Ask questions after the story, such as:
 How did Tom feel while no one was helping him?

 How did Tom feel when Anni came over to help him?
C. LESSON PROPER

o The teacher will further discuss the meaning and importance of first
aid. S/he will then explain and perform the methods of giving CPR
to the patient. Afterwards the teacher will discuss/ talk about the
proper first aid procedures for common unintentional injuries.

D. ACTIVITY

o The teacher will ask the students to perform/ demonstrate the


proper method of giving CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)

E. GENERALIZATION

o The teacher will call on some students to sum up the lesson by


explaining the importance of First aid and how it can have an
impact on one’s life.

F. EVALUATION
