A Dandelion

By: Veronica Mandella

My roots slowly seeped into the ground

And I grew tall and strong
The seasons changed
The storms passed through
But I stayed true

Then one day the clouds rolled in

Bringing with it gusts of wind
It blew and blew until at last
I was through

All of a sudden I was shattered

Into a million pieces
That all blew

The wind came through

And left me bare
But let my pieces start anew
