Peak value of the velocity = w x A; where w is the angular velocity in rad / sec
and A is the peak to peak amplitude in micron
mm / sec= 0.71 x w x ( A / 2 / 1000)
therefore, rms velocity
2/ (3 x fm) = 0.00022
Since (fn2 + fns2)^0.5 / (fn x fns) > 2/ (3 x fm)
Check for coupling critera is required and same is available in the Appendix B

Hence O.K
9 REINFORCEMENT CALCULATION:
As the foundation is designed as a block foundation, a minimum shrinkage reinforcement of 30kg/m 3 shall be
provided. (ACI 351.3R-04 Cl 4.4)
Weight of reinf. required(footing) = 12 x 4.00 x 1.25 x 30 = 1800.00 kg
Reinforcement provided :
Footing
Top 70 bars x ( 4.00 + 1.250 ) 2.23 = 819.53 kg
24 bars x ( 12.0 + 1.250 ) 2.23 = 709.14 kg
Bottom same as that in top = 1528.67 kg
Sides (horz) 7 bars x 16 x 2.23 = 249.76 kg
7 bars x 16 x 2.23 = 249.76 kg
Triaxial (Horz) 19 bars x 4 x 1.04 = 79.04 kg
6 bars x 12 x 1.04 = 74.88 kg
Triaxial (Ver) 38 bars x 1.25 x 1.04 = 49.40 kg
Total Reinforcement in Foundation = 3760.17 kg > 1800.000 kg
