TUMBES

Tumbes is a city in the extreme northwest of

Peru, provincial capital and the Department of
Tumbes, located near the mouth of the Tumbes
River in the Gulf of Guayaquil (Pacific Ocean) 30
km from the border with Ecuador. It has an
estimated population of 111,595 inhabitants for
