This large genset is ordered by Joko Widodo, the President of Republic of Indonesia through PLN as the
initial step of the 35,000 MW project to strengthen the power supply in several locations in Indonesia.
Considering that Indonesia is an archipelagic country, consisting of more than 17,000 islands, a power
plant on board is the most appropriate option.

The ship made in 2014 is leased for five years, with the starting point of connection in Amurang, South
Minahasa, North Sulawesi. Furthermore, PLN will bring similar ships to several locations, among others,
northern Sumatra (240 MW), Kupang (60 MW), Ambon (60 MW) and Lombok (60 MW).

The province of East Nusa Tenggara, especially the capital city Kupang, experienced a power deficit of 18
MW to 20MW at night. Targeted in April 2016, 1 (one) MVPP unit with a power of 60 MW will lean on
Bolok territorial waters, Bolok power plant pier, Kupang to increase the electricity supply in the city of
Kupang. The electricity from the floating power plant will be injected through the Bolok electrical relay
station and then diverted through the 70 kV transmission to the Maufala electrical relay station.

Below is the specification of MVVP:

For now, PLN customers in areas that are still deficit in power availability need to be able to take a part
in electricity saving programs by shutting down or reducing the use of lights and electrical appliances at
18:00 - 22:00.

PLN for NTT region, especially PLN branch for Kupang area optimists with additional electricity supply to
the number of 90 MW in 2016, the problem of electricity availability will be resolved and public
complaints regarding power outage will obviously be faced/handled.
