PAST TENSES

PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWINGS:

1. I, we, you, us, my, your, our.


2. Tobe, verbs (predicates)
3. Examples:
Jane: l need your help
Jane said to him that she needed his help
4. Must be in the form of affirmative statements.
Ani asked Anisa : who was the person?
Ani asked anisa who the person had been.
5. Changes in the tenses:
- Present tenses - past tenses
- Past tense -- past perfect

A. PRESENT TENSES -- PAST TENSES

Change the following direct speech into reported speech.

1. The students wonder : is it possible to get it done within two hours?

2. The counselor said to the students: you are required to collect more authentic data.
