1. Suatu pompa centrifugal dengan fluida kerja air mempunyai spesifikasi teknis
sbb :
a. Radius inlet dan outlet impeller R1 = 4 cm dan R2 = 12 cm.
b. Sudut kelengkungan sudu inlet dan outlet 1 = 400 dan 2 = 600
c. Lebar impeller inlet dan outlet impeller b 1 = 4 cm dan b2 = 2 cm.
d. Putaran n = 1450 rpm. Dan pompa tanpa dilengkapi dg inlet guide
vanes (1 = 900).
Tentukan :
a. Head teoritis Ht (m),
b. Kapasitas teoritis (lt/min)
c. Daya teoritis (KW).

2. A centrifugal water pump with impeller dimensions : radius inlet & outlet R1 = 2

in; R2 = 5 in; blade width b1 = 3 in; b2= 1,5 in ; outlet blade angle  2 = 20o is
to pump 5 cfs (capacity) at 64 ft (theorytical head).
Determine :
a) Intlet blade angle  1
b) The impeller speed n
c) the horsepower (HP).
Neglect losses and assume no shock at entrancce  1 = 90o.
