my experience during clinical practice

Before I studied at Diponegoro university I attended the sultan agung Islamic

university . there I took a midwifery course. in the 2nd semester I have started clinic
practice in the hospital. I get a hospital in the hospital of Islam sultan agung semarang,
in that hospital I will practice for 1 month. the first week I got a surgical ward, in that
ward I found a variety of cases of surgical cases, most patients there are patients who
will be surgery and after surgery. I get something new there, where there is a finger
amputation surgery, cancer surgery, appendectomy and many more. in the 2nd week I
moved to the children's ward, here the atmosphere is more fun because I meet the
children are funny. but pity also because the children there mostly can only cry because
of the pain suffered. on the child's ward for a week. after a week I went to the internal
medicine ward, I found 1 case which I thought was in great need of vigilance, and in
this ward I could learn to install the NGT, into the ICU room, into the hemodialysis
room, into the operating room. although just looking and watching but that's what
makes me happy. in addition to the ward, sometimes I was asked for help to go to the
pharmacy room to take medicine and also to the laboratory to retrieve patient laboratory
results. there I always share the sift. sometimes morning , sometimes day and night.
when the night watch is usually nurses start to sleep at 1 am, where not all sleep at that
time, but alternately to vigil. I am very happy with my experience during clinical
practice, not only meet patients directly, but also meet nurses, doctors, and other
practical students. the reason why I moved to nursing is one of them. this is an amazing
experience.
