BEHAVIRAL OBJECTIVES: - At the end of lesson, student should be able to:
(i.) DEFINE WEATHERING
(ii.) IDENTIFLY THE TYPES OF WEATHERING
(iii.) LIST THE FACTOR THAT INFLUENCE WEATHERING OF
ROCK
PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE: - The student have learnt meaning of wreathing,
types and their features.
INTRODUCTION: - Teacher introduce the lesson by asking student question,
what is weathering
PRESENTATION: - Teacher present the lesson by using the following steps:
STEP I: -The teacher will define weathering as the broken down of rock by
atmosphere or weather forces.
STEP II: - The teacher will list the type of weathering
(i.) Chemical weathering
(ii.) Physical weathering
(iii.) Biological weathering
STEP III: -The teacher will mention the factors that influence weather of rock.

III. Relief
IV. Vegetation
V. Activities of man
STUDENT ACTIVITIES: - The teacher will allow the student to ask question on
the area discussed in the course of the lesson.
EVALUATION: - the teacher will evaluate the student by asking his students to
define weathering.
CONCLUSION: - the teacher conclude his lesson by given the student note to
copy on the chalk board, or the teacher will summarize the lesson of discussion
with more emphasis on the observed area of students difficulties during his
evaluation.
