Dear Parents,
We hope you had a wonderful Rosh Hashanah with your loved
ones and we are so happy that the transition back on
Monday was effortless. Your children are getting more and
more comfortable coming to school and playing with their
friends and we couldn't be more happy to see the smiles on
their faces.
We discussed Yom Kippur
and the children learned that
it's a day where we say we
are sorry for things that we have done even if it was something we did by
accident and if you go to synagogue, you will hear the shofar. We worked on
making our very own shofars using markers and cutouts. We had Boppercise
with Ms. Asia on Monday, which allowed the children to shake their sillies out
and dance! On Wednesday, we had our very first music class with Ms. Kendra!
The children sang various songs using different instruments. We also had our
very first science class with Mrs. Z. today, which the children enjoyed very
much.
Next week we will continue
discussing Sukkot and preparing for
the exciting holiday.
Pizza in the Hut is on Tuesday, October 10 from 5:30 PM to
6:30PM! Please RSVP by Tuesday, October 3 if you haven't already
done so.
Please remember that in
observance of Yom
Kippur school will not
be in session on Friday,
September 29.
We wish you an easy
fast and G'mar Chatima Tova!
Shabbat
Shalom!
