THE NORTHERN PLAYFUL LEMUR

LEPILEMUR SEPTENTRIONALIS

This mammal has different characteristics which are very particular in this world in which we
live, then I will present characteristics that makes this cute animal unique to its species.

In the world: Africa

Region: Madagascar

Order: Primates

Size: 28cm

Weight: 700 to 800g

Habitat: deciduous forests, and humid forests

Food: leaves

Behavior: of solitary habits, they sleep in hollows of trees.

This animal has several threats that affect their experience on this planet, most of the things that
affect this animal are not natural phenomena but the human being with their actions.

The main threat is the loss of forests due to the production of coal. Hunting (in particular by
charcoal burners).

This sweet animal lives on the island of Madagascar and became famous for the animated film
with that name. But in real life, there are only 50 specimens of this species left, and they can
disappear at any time. The area in which they live is not protected, and no plan has been
developed for their conservation. According to the International Union for the Conservation of
Nature (IUCN), the northern playful lemur saw its population reduced by 80% in recent times.

to be able to help this animal it is very necessary to know everything about what affects you so
that you can carry a, atodologia for your well being, it is possible to say that this animal is very
indipensable for the food chain that exists in nature and the animal kingdom .

examples to reach the thinking of all young people and the entire population.

It is very necessary to have the support of our governors to provide us with real information and
thus be able to carry out each of our objectives and thus we can avoid the extinction of this
beautiful animal.

The best way for governments to help this animal would be to leave in the financial interest and
begin to have more interest in a nature and a decent environment to live.

because we are talking about a good and dignified living without buts and for them we must
become aware from us changing our mentality.
