Osteoartritis is a chronical impaired joint within bone destruction and joint as
disintegration and progresif extenuation that followed with growing at the edge of
bone and cartilage as called as osteofit, and fibrosis at joint capsule. WHO
estimated 40% advantages in years over 70 years old that suffering osteoartritis
dan 80% occurred immobility. Radiography studies that do in America and
Europe for civilians at over 45 years old got OA joint high prevalence, 14% for
males and 22,8% for females. While in Asian South East, amount of OA suffered
up to 24 billions people. The problem that occurred is joint pain. Aplicated warm
compress to nursing care plan Mrs.O and Mrs.F with osteoartritis at PSTW
Pangeran Hidayatullah. The treatment and decreasing for the joint pain appear
must get appropriate intervention, one of the instervention is warm compress that
purpose for decreasing paint scale that client felt. Warm compress is a method that
using warm temperature for making pshysiologies effect. Research design method
is using Case Study. Sampling method that using in this research is purposive
sampling. The sample is two respondes that takes from people over 60 years old
that suffered osteoartritis, at Maret to April 2018. This research data takes with
using primer data and secondary data. The result for this research is warm
compress can decreasing pain scale. As the result of this research, warm compress
must applicating for minimalized pain that happen at people who suffered
osteoartritis.
