PASTA BOLOGNESE

Ingredients
 1 Esslöffel olive oil
 2 garlic cloves , minced, if not available (use garlic powder)
 1 onion , finely chopped, if not available (use onion powder)
 250g ground beef or pork, or a combination of both
 1 beef bouillon
 400g can crushed tomato (or tomato passata)
 1 Esslöffel tomato paste
 1 to 2 Teelöffel brown sugar, depending on taste preference
 1 Teelöffel Worcestershire sauce
 2 dried bay leaves if available
 1 Prise Italienisch Herbs
 Salt and pepper

To Serve
 200g pasta
 Parmesan cheese
 Parsley , finely chopped, (optional)

Instructions
1. Use a Teflon Non-stick Casserole for cooking the sauce. Heat olive oil medium high heat
(Stove no 5). Add onion and garlic, cook for 5 minutes or until light golden and softened.
If fresh garlic and onion is not available, go to number 2.
2. Turn heat up to high (Stove no 8) and add beef. Cook, breaking it up as your go, until
browned.
3. Add tomato sauce and stir well. Once it starts to make strong bubbles, lower the heat to
Stove no 5.
4. Add the Worcestershire, beef bouillon, tomato paste, bay leaves, sugar, and Itali enisch
Herbs.
5. Stir well, bring to a simmer then turn down to low heat (Stove no 1) so it bubbles gently.
Cook for around 2 hrs. with lid cover, adding water if the sauce gets too thick for your
taste. Stir occasionally every 30 mins to avoid burning of sauce at the bottom of the pan .
6. Add salt and pepper to taste right at the end.

This recipe is good for 2 person. Just double the ingredients to serve 4 person.
