THE RELATIONSHIP OF NURSE PERFORMANCE TO NURSING

SERVICES QUALITY
(Study in the Jayanegara Room of RSU Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo, Mojokerto
City)

Nurses who are slow in acting, lack of attention to patients, unfriendly and lack of
information are nursing services that are not in accordance with professional nursing
standards. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the nurse
performance and the nursing services quality.

The design of study is a correlative analytic design by using a cross sectional


approach. The population in this study were all patients with a treatment of at least
2x24 hours, the sample of this study amounted to 42 people using consecutive
sampling. The instruments of data collection were questionnaires and observation
sheets (check list), independent variables of nurse performance and dependent
variable quality of nursing services, data processing starting from Editing, Coding,
Scoring, Tabulating then analyzed using Spearman rho with α = 0.05.

The results showed that most of the 24 nurses (57.1%) performed well and most
respondents 27 people (64.3%) stated that the quality of nursing services was good,
the results of the Spearman rho analysis test obtained p value 0.000 <α (0.05) so H1
is accepted.

The conclusion of this study stated that there is a significant relationship between the
performance of nurses and the quality of nursing services.
