Ang Sampung Utos ng Diyos

The Ten (10) Commandments of God are listed twice in the Bible — first in Chapter 20
of the Book of Exodus, and also in Chapter 5 of the Deuteronomy.

Most Filipinos being Christian, the Bible is read and taught widely in the Philippines.

ANG S AMPUNG UTOS NG DIYOS

1. Ibigin mo ang Diyos nang lalo at higit sa lahat.

1. Love God above all else.

2. Huwag kang sasamba sa mga diyos-diyosan.

2. Do not worship false gods.

3. Ipangilin mo ang araw ng Sabbath.

3. Obseve the day of the Sabbath.

4. Galangin mo ang iyong ama at ina.

4. Respect your father and your mothers.

5. Huwag kang papatay.

5. Do not kill.

6. Huwag kang makikiapid sa hindi mo asawa.

6. Do not commit adultery.

7. Huwag kang magnakaw.

7. Do not steal.

8. Huwag kang magbibintang at huwag kang magsisinungaling.

8. Do not make accusations and do not lie.

9. Huwag kang magnanasa sa hindi mo pag-aari.

9. Do not covet what is not yours.

10. Huwag kang magnanasa sa hindi mo asawa.

10. Do not covet your neighbor’s spouse.
