The purpose of this letter is to briefly introduce Plastene India Limited and its products.

We introduce ourselves as India’s Second largest FIBC (Jumbo Bags) manufacturer. We are
part of Champalal group, which is more than 60 years old with annual turnover of more than
USD 210 Million. We started the mega project of different type of Plastics Packaging products
with a huge capacity of 21,000 Metric Tons per annum in the year 2005, which has now
increased up to 55,000 Metric Tons per annum.

Due to stringent Quality Controls, on time Deliveries, prompt Customer Response/Service,

state of art Production and Quality Control Machines, we have become the fastest growing
FIBC producing company of India and with span of just 10 years we have become the second
largest producer of the country.

We also feel proud to inform you that we are the company which has got Food Grade BRC
certificate for whole Production Process, which is from Granules to finished product (Bags)
which is rarely available in the country.

56 Flat Sulzer Looms can make maximum width up to 4.5 Mtr
4 Co-extrusion plant (Multilayer Blown Film) can make maximum tube of 2.50 Mtr and 200 micron
Auto Form-fit liner machine and suspended liner machine from Turkey
6 Lamination Plants – Can laminate up to 2.10 mtr fabric
15 Printing Machines- Can print up to 4 colors
Multifilament Yarn Plants- From SML Austria & Lohia can make minimum 300 DNR to maximum 4000 DNR
43 Needle Looms- maximum width 100 mm and maximum grammage 75 gram/linear meter

Apart from production capabilities we maintain the quality of products for which we have full-
fledged laboratory having all the required equipment’s for testing which includes Tensile
Tester for fabric and webbing, UV testing machine, Test Rig (load testing machine for cyclic
and destructive) and quality control machines like Air Cleaning Machines, Metal Detectors,
Ultrasonic Cutters on the looms and cutting machines.

Certification:- We are BRC-IoP, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007 certified.

Affiliations:- IFIBCA, FIBCA, EFIBCA & TBPA.

Geographic Location:- With the 9 Production Facilities located on the Western coast of India
i.e. in Gujarat and very near to KANDLA and MUNDRA Port it makes us easier to supply the
material quickly at economical cost and reduces the lead time.

Apart from domestic manufacturing we have Started manufacturing facility in Uruguay from
2012 with a built up area of around 20,000 sq feet with Product range of One loop,4 Loop Big
Bags and PP Woven Bags.
