PURPOSE OF THIS ELECTION POLLING INFORMATION


The primary purpose of this election is for DATE:
the voters in Louisiana to voice their Tuesday, November 6, 2018
preference for Louisiana Secretary of State
and all six Louisiana U.S. Congressional BE PREPARED:
seats for the 116th Congress. In addition, Polling Locations and Sample Ballots are

30 parishes have statewide and local elections


only, including: Allen, Assumption, Avoyelles,
Beauregard, Bossier, Caldwell, Cameron,
Claiborne, Concordia, DeSoto, East Feliciana,
Evangeline, Franklin, Iberville, Jefferson Davis,
Plaquemines, Pointe Coupee, Red River,
POLLS OPEN: 6 AM POLLS CLOSE: 8 PM Sabine, St. Bernard, St. Helena, St. James, St.
Landry, St. Martin, Tensas, Vermilion, Webster,
West Baton Rouge, West Carroll, and Winn.

6 parishes have statewide, local, parishwide,


and limited jurisdiction proposition elections,
including: Catahoula, East Carroll, Jefferson,
LaSalle, Terrebonne, and West Feliciana.

10 parishes have statewide, local and


parishwide proposition elections including:
Bienville, Caddo, Calcasieu, Grant, Lafayette,
Livingston, Madison, Richland, St. Charles, and
St. John The Baptist.

18 parishes have statewide, local, and limited


jurisdiction proposition elections, including:
Acadia, Ascension, East Baton Rouge, Iberia,
Jackson, Lafourche, Lincoln, Morehouse,
Natchitoches, Orleans, Ouachita, Rapides, St.
Mary, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Union,
Vernon, and Washington.
