b) As CPM Section 8, Ensure Shipboard Drills are conducted regularly (as per Drill Schedule, FS-13) and the Shipboard Safety Committee shall review the effectiveness of these drills.
c) The schedules shall be minimum requirement and master may conduct additional drill / exercise / training in frequent interval as and when necessary.
d) The requirement for additional training shall depend on the skill of the crew and possibility of high occurrences of emergency in the trading area of the vessel.
e) After exercised have been carried out, the master should evaluate the success and record in the drill report and entries in deck and engine room log books.
