The running direction and “no entry” indications are placed at the
handrail’s inlet and outlet, ensuring safe passenger riding.
A streamline skirt panel lighting along the step running track for a
more comfortable ride.

The skirt panel brush is installed on both sides of the skirt panel
above the steps. It is used to prevent the passengers’ shoes from
scratching the skirt panel and dirt from entering into the steps.
automatic start/stop
An infrared ray sensor which is near the floor plate can detect
passengers entering and leaving the escalator. In this way the opera-
tion starts and stops automatically in order to save energy. Scanning
sensor and conventional infrared photocells are available.
