The Best Thing I Get as Mining Engineering Student

My name is Richky Adhia Utama. I come from Bandar Lampung. I’m mining
engineering student in UPN Veteran Yogyakarta. I choose mining because I like many
subjects which are related to mining, such as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Mining
engneering is my wish since i was kid. That’s why I choose it. There are many things which i
get as mining engineering student for exampe. All the students get together and help each
other out. I didn’t understand a concept in class and the students sat with me until I
understood it. I feel so comfortable with them. In study groups, everyone helps each other
out. No one gets left behind. We always work together. There are no individualism in mining
engineering. I even had a few graduate students talk to me about certain jobs experiences
they’ve had. I really grateful to study here.

From all the statements above, I can conclude that the best thing I get is
Togetherness. It’s very important to unite as one because there will be many practices
which need a teamwork. It can’t be done if it’s only by myself,especially in the next
semester. I should develop my soft skills so that I can be easier to get the job after
graduated from UPN Veteran Yogyakarta. That’s what I get as mining engineering student. I
hope I can be the professional mining engineer in the future.
