ATTENDANCE
1. There shall be no checking of attendance in class. Therefore, no student
will receive a grade of 0.0 (Excessive Absences).
2. A LOG BOOK will be assigned at the back to input the time of entry in
class. Each minute of late will accumulate the following penalties:
1st Offense: Each minute shall correspond to a point of deduction to the
soonest PROBLEM SET/RESEARCH WORK.
2nd Consecutive Offense: Each minute shall correspond to a point of
deduction to the soonest SEATWORK.
3rd Consecutive Offense: Each minute shall correspond to a point of
deduction to the soonest QUIZ.
3. Thirty(30) minutes of late will incur:
1st Offense: Zero Score to the soonest PROBLEM SET/RESEARCH WORK.
2nd Consecutive Offense: Zero Score to the soonest SEATWORK.

CLASS ACTIVITIES AND SPECIAL EXAMINATIONS
1. All students must accept the invitation to be part of the Canvas Group.
All announcements, files, and submissibles will be posted there.
2. No special seatwork and research work shall be allowed.
3. Students can take special quizzes and problem sets only with the
following supporting documents:
Valid Medical Certificate
Valid Excuse Letter from Parent/Guardian
4. Family vacation, travels and outings are not valid excuses for absences.
5. All quizzes are announced. Therefore, students have no excuse of
reasoning for an unannounced examination.
6. The schedule for other class activities and urgent matters shall be
inputted in the CALENDAR of the Canvas group of the class.

examinations, copying other’s work, kodigo, etc. are all subject to the
same sanction. Besides being charged of major offense as indicated in the
Student Handbook, you will also immediately receive a grade of 0.5 for
the course.
2. Gadget use inside the classroom is allowed so long as it is not disturbing
the rest of the class and the discussion. It is therefore expected that
phones be turned off or, at least, put to silent mode.
3. Other matters include those that are indicated in the Student Manual.
