COMPANY’S POLICIES

SMOKING POLICY
To avoid smoking harmfulness, ALLSEA DMCC encourages all Crew to quit smoking.

The Company seriously recognized that SMOKING ONBOARD (especially for Oil Tankers,
Chemical Tankers, Gas Carriers) can cause extreme danger to the life of personnel as well as
cargo and property of company. Therefore, hereby issues the smoking policy onboard as
follows:

1. Smoking onboard while the vessel is in port, terminal and during cargo operations is
strictly prohibited. Smoking can only be allowed under closely controlled conditions in
designated areas specified and considered safe for smoking by the Master. However,
depending on special regulations and requirements of particular port or terminal, smoking
may be totally prohibited accordingly.
2. Only while the vessel is at sea, smoking is allowed in designated areas specified for
smoking by the Master.
3. Smoking is totally prohibited outside designated areas specified for smoking by the Master
at all time.
4. Smoking on bed is totally prohibited.
5. While smoking in designated areas, all the fire doors of such areas must be kept tightly
closed. Cigarette butts must be carefully put out into safe and approved astray.
6. Limiting smoking onboard as much as possible. Whenever seeing anyone is violating the
above smoking regulations, stop him/her immediately and report to superiors, company.
7. Be fully aware of that it is everyone’s responsibility and duty to check, monitor and
prevent all violations of this policy of all persons onboard, including shipboard crew,
visitors and guests.
8. The Master must clearly specify the designated areas for smoking and post up
prominently “SMOKING” and “NO SMOKING” signs accordingly.

Any Company’s employee who violates the terms of this policy will have to bear strict
disciplinary action and his/her employment with the company can be terminated.
