Design Skills
Design: Paper Prototyping systems for electronic games, 2D and 3D game design, 2D and 3D level design and game
mechanics, puzzle platformer design, game combat systems design, systems design.
Production: Experience with iterative production, play-testing, focus testing, scrum methodology; experienced with
working with a diverse team of artists, programmers, and designers; experienced with content pipelines.
Communication: Experience as a part of larger teams, working collaboratively with Artists, Programmers,
and Designers to achieve milestones. Active in setting up meetings and driving brainstorming sessions.
Visualization Tools: Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, 3DS Max.
Level Design: Proficient in Unity Editor. Experience in, Unreal Editor, 2D tile editors, RTS style editors. Proprietary engines.
Technical Skills
Programming: Experience with C/C++, C#, LUA, JavaScript, Python, Java, JSON, XML; Proficient in Scripting Trigger
Events, Unreal Kismet. Can pick up any new programming language within a few days.
General Skills

 Designed and implemented community events through the Forzathon system, utilizing XML and custom workflows to
increase throughput
 Streamlined the Forzathon program to increase the cadence from 3 events/month to 24+ events a month including weekly
and monthly challenges
 Designed and implemented challenges utilizing player telemetry to drive DAU and MAU for the game through weekly and
monthly Forzathon events
 Partnered with the Community, UI/UX, and additional teams to drive feature changes, such as the in-game implementation
of messaging to announce major feature releases as well as new community events
 Contributed to teams for the design of several unreleased features within FM7 to ensure that the player is getting fresh and
quality content
 Helped guide the teams at Turn 10 to shape the Forza franchises into becoming a Games as a Service
Unnamed Unannounced Projects – Game Designer 3/Systems Designer (E-Line Media) March 2015 – July 2017
 Designed and implemented half a dozen prototypes, from card games to rhythm matching experiences
 Worked closely with the lead designer to spec and prototype various systems which was then handed off to engineering
 Worked closely with programmers to aid in the expansion of a custom scripting tool
 Utilized programs such as Excel to generate tools to understand game balance more easily
 Led generation of Level, Systems, or Content Design on various prototypes
 Led meetings to drive understanding of various gameplay topics per project
 Trained and mentored new hires on the team on the various proprietary tools we used and got them up to speed more

A 2.5D Side-scrolling Narrative Puzzle Platformer on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, WiiU, iOS, Android
 Designed and implemented half of the shipped levels in the base game
 Scripted gameplay using a proprietary visual scripting tool
 Partnered with our external audio team to implement music and effects through the entire game
 Partnered with the animation team to build out all cinematics within the game
 Was a key stakeholder in debugging the game
 Was key designer in refactoring levels and scripts to bring the overall game performance up to an acceptable level during
shipping the base game and its various ports

3D Isometric Real Time Strategy Game
 Designed and implemented a revamp of secondary quest objectives for all quests in the game
 Performed tuning work on many of the later quests in the Northern Invasion Expansion
 Designed and implemented the last act of the final mission of the Northern Invasion Expansion
 Designed and implemented a brand-new skirmish map that was added into the game (Great Lake) for PvP play
 Prototyping work on new quest ideas
 Took part in many discussions on tuning and making the Northern Invasion Expansion more in line with the difficulty
