Project Summary

We have selected the Mirpur 12 slum area in Dhaka, Bangladesh and the people of
mirpur slum area are very poor and living in remote without fundamental facility, they
need support for their children education. The proposed project is planning to implement
in 52 children. The school going children need Cloth, School bag, Books and Notebooks,
Writing materials for their studies. The poor students are coming from poor family and
the family income is not enough for their daily bread. They can not buy the study material
for their children, in this situation create not good education to children and they don’t
attend regular classes in school because of they have no basic facilities for studies, So, we
are plan to support these school going children for their good studies.

Targeted people:

25 Girls and 27 boys totally 52 urban Poor School going children in 7 schools
from mirpur 12 slum area, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Objective

 To increase the literacy rate in mirpur slum area

 To reduce the rate of child labor
 To improve their life style
 To increase the awareness

Duration of the Project:

The duration of our project is 1 year (from 2019 to 2020). Though it is short time
but everything is possible if we try to hard and soul.
Budget

We know that it is social welfare activities so we want to get the fund, Different NGOs
and government institution will give us fund. Firstly we have to give an application to get
the fund. We shall give the application to the 5 NGOs such as ASA, BRAC, Bees,
Jagorani Foundation and Heed Bangladesh. After collecting the fund we shall buy the
materials such as School Bag, Note books, Books, Guide, Writing materials and 2 set of
uniform with shoes for Children. After sending application, we have collected the fund
about 4 lac 30 thousand taka.
Cost analysis
8.1 thousand per child * 52 children = 4,21,200 TK Total

Bag for per student 1500*52=78000 taka

Pen, Khata for per student in 12 month where per month 300 so every year per
student 3600 taka
.-. total cost of khata pen 3600*52=187200 taka
Books per student 1000*52=52000 taka
2 set uniform for per student 2000*52=104000 taka
Transport cost =9000 taka

Total cost = 4,30000 taka
Structure

This project will be done by a group as a result no need to create the formal structure but
we have to specify the task such as 2 will submit the application and collect the fund; two
will buy the study materials. All are equally responsible for all segments of this project.
Implementation:

At first we are divided into two groups and we have selected 25 female children for 1
group and another group has been selected for 27 male children. Than we shall start our
activities such as

 To distribute School bags for 52 poor School going children

 To distribute cloth (uniform) for 52 school going children
 To distribute writing and reading materials for 52 school going children
  52 school going children make them to go to school very perfect and good study.
Monitoring

We are creating two groups by four members and 1 member is always monitoring the
activities where the children get the incentives. This will be ensured by one.

Outcome and Evaluation of the Project

If we manage the educational support for them the child labor rate will be
decreased because that time the children will go to school. We know that education
change the life style and increase the awareness of all the things and such outcome
will be achieved

 52 children are happy to go to school because they now felt equal to all.
 52 poor children are got support for their good studies and perfect.
 52 children family members are satisfied to their children school system.
 52 children are going school regular.
