Experience: Grade Level: 5th, August 2018-Present
• Differentiated instruction in all subject areas for a class of 27 students, 14 of which
began the year approaching grade level in reading, four of which had IEP plans, and
one who had a 504 plan
• Created various classroom behavior plans and partnered in the creation of a Behavior
Intervention Plan with the district 504 Coordinator and Social Worker
• Participated in Strategies for Student Success Meetings to support all students,
including those with learning and behavioral difficulties
• Applied strategies from PBIS, Whole Brain Teaching, and the Leader in Me to create
a positive classroom culture and learning environment for all students
• Recommended students for Reading and Math RTI based on NWEA performance,
DRA scores, and classroom observations
