Earth

Earth is one of the 8 planets of the solar system, and it is our home. Scientists have
studied our planet for several years trying to find the way it was formed, however
they haven’t found an answer of this, because earth has very complex characteristics
that makes it a difficult place to study.

There is no other place like our planet, it is the only one that can host life, at least
that is what we know, due to the position of it in the solar system. Our planet is warm,
but not too much and we have a large amount of water which is essential for us.

We have day and night in our planet. As earth spins, some places are lighted by the
sun and the rest of it is dark, this last period is called night.
The weather varies depending on the time of the year. In some places the climate
doesn’t change very much, but in other places there are 4 different seasons like
spring, summer, autumn and winter.

From the space earth looks like a ball of diverse colors like blue for the water, brown
and green, because of the land, and white swirls formed by the clouds. Our planet
has mountains, lakes, rivers, seas, deserts, volcanoes, distinct kinds of life, oceans,
etc., with a vast range of sizes, a lot of different and beautiful places and species
that make it a unique place in the whole galaxy.
