Proposal for consulting service of preparation of Master Plan & design of
swimming pool & shop with cafe

1. INTRODUCTION
Mr. ----------- (The Client) requested verbally to submit the proposal of consulting
service for preparation of Master Plan, design of swimming pool & shop
with cafe (The Project) on date 2073/09/07 B.S. “ ”
(The consultant) has prepared the proposal which includes preparation of master plan,
design, drawing, cost estimate of swimming pool & shop with café at Kandaghari,
Kathmandu.

2. OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE OF WORK

The main objective of the consulting services is to include preparation of master plan,
design, drawing, cost estimate of swimming pool & shop with café at Kandaghari,
Kathmandu. The consultant in general will perform the following jobs:
 Literature review of similar projects all around the world, and incorporation of
recommended aspects for our project.
 Site Visit of the location of project to collect field data and site measurement etc.
 Planning of the project for space utilization & landscaping.
 Structural analysis for design of swimming pool, shop & café.
 Preparation of detail drawings for construction of swimming pool, shop with café.
 Preparation of cost estimates for construction of swimming pool, shop with café.
 Prepare & compiling the report incorporating all works.

3. AVAILABLE INFORMATION AND DATA

All the works will be carried out on the basis of the following available information
provided by the Client:
 Cadastral Map of the project.
 Any data related to the project if any.

4. DETAIL WORKS
The following listed works will be carried out for the preparation of report of the project.
The details of the works will be as tabulated below:

1. Preparation of Master Preparation of master plan (2 dimensions) regarding
Plan the component location. It includes swimming pool,
futsal, party palace, shop with café and land scaping.
2. Design & Analysis Structural Analysis of the swimming pool, shop with
cafe.
4. Drawing Preparation of drawing of the swimming pool, shop
with cafe.
5. Cost Estimate Cost estimate of the swimming pool, shop with café
will be carried out as per current market rate of
construction in Kathmandu.
6. Preparation of Report Report includes all works like design, analysis,
drawing & cost estimate etc.

5. METHODOLOGY
The following headings are listed for the methodology.
 Review of Literature
 Site measurement for field data.
 Analysis & design of the project under prevailing codes, municipality norms, bye laws
etc.
 The drawings of the project will be prepared for construction purpose.
 Cost estimate of the work will be carried out as per current market rate of construction at
Kathmandu.

6. WORKING TEAM
The working team of the field and office work will consists of the following key
personnel together with adequate supporting manpower.

7. TIME SCHEDULE
The target time period to complete the work is about 45 days. The total period of 45 days
are divided into different headings. The tentative time scheduling is tabulated below. The
work will be started after approval of this proposal from the client.

8. COST
The cost for the consulting service will be NRs. 3,50,000.00 (In words: NRs. Three
Lakhs and Fifty Thousand Only) without VAT.
o The above amount of consulting service only includes preparation of master plan,
design, drawing & cost estimate of swimming pool and shop with cafe.
o The site supervision charge will be added at the time of site supervision for
construction period.

9. DELIVERABLE
Field Report Within 6 days from the project Start.
Draft Report Within 36 days from the project Start.
Final Report Within 6 days from date of approval of Draft Report.

10. MODE OF PAYMENT

Mobilization 50% of the contract amount
