above the ruler, and the person
doing the activity must select
the correct measurement of the
line out of the four given
choices. The child is given 10
different questions, and
answers are recorded as either
correct or incorrect. If a given
answer is incorrect, the correct
answer is given with a brief
explanation.

by using the marbles to help

words are created, the activity
notifies the participant with a
message congratulating him or
her and providing the option to
complete the activity again
with new word opportunities.

grade, and covers a wide array
of skills and subjects. The
overall theme of the activity is
following directions, and the
directions are on one of the
following skills: color
matching, greatest number of
items, number order, character
identification, and having one
image unlike the other given
images. This activity could be
used in a time such as “target
time” to provide students with
extra practice on these skills
they might be struggling with
in the context of the major
subjects.

timed practice using money to
add up to the appropriate
amounts. The game provides
participants with a written
amount of money and varying
types of coins and paper money

the written amount of money in
as little time as possible. The
effectiveness of the
participant’s skill is showed by
how many amounts they
correctly reached in the time
given. The activity also
compares the scores to other
players’ scores, so in a
classroom with more than one
computer, up to four students
can compete in the activity if
desired.

help students practice their
skills with parts of speech,
specifically with verbs. The
activity provides a brief
definition of verbs and an
example of a verb. The object
of the game is to use the cursor
to touch the robot that has a
verb written on it. Out of the
five robots with words written
on them, only one of them has
a verb written on it. The
activity consists of 15
questions, and the amount of
right and wrong answers are
shown at the end of the
activity.

grade math to provide practice
comparing numbers using
greater than, less than, or equal
to. This activity presents three
alligators with mouths varying
in shape between the greater
than, less than, and equal to
signs. The activity also presents

between them. The student
places the image of the
appropriate alligator between
the two numerals to indicate
the correct comparison of the
numbers. The student is
presented with four questions,
and they are scored using a
rating system out of three stars.
