MEMBERSHIP PROCESS VIA THE INSTITUTE’S DIRECT MEMBERSHIP SCHEME (DMS) CRITERIA FOR
MEMBERSHIP CONSIDERATION
A. Fellow member (Minimum of 15 years working experience with prior relevant trainings and
experience in project management)
B. Associate member (Minimum of 10 years working experience)
C. Research member (He/ she must be a graduate and possesses a post graduate degree with
interest in research)
D. Graduate member (Graduates of Universities. Also Universities final year students and
Nigeria National Youth Services Corps members).
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
1. Interested applicants are to make payment for the appropriate application form with our state
offices nationwide. Thereafter, fill the form attached with relevant documents and
proceed to submit to the state office. Applicant that want to make payment through
other means are to fill the application form via this means and attach evidence of such
payment.
2. The Institute’s DMS Application Assessment Panel would communicate to the applicant
indicating the approval of membership application or otherwise. Successful applicant can
proceed and make payment for the annual subscription and membership fee.
Under the fast track admission policy of the Institute, certified professional members have
been issued practicing license to conduct an intensive general introductory course on
project management and charge fee as prescribed by the Institute. The Certificate of
Completion of the IGCP is one of the prerequisite for induction as a professional
member of the Institute.

4. The Institute offers a special training session for Senior Executive Officers and other willing
