Instruction for EKRIP driver installation on Windows 8/8.

Please follow instruction below to install EKRIP Driver on Window 8/8.1/10, this is needed to due
to EKRIP Driver is an unsigned driver.

Move your mouse closer to the upper right part on the screen, then select settings ->change pc
settings->choose General –> Under “Advanced Startup” –> Restart now.

Now the system will restart and might take some time to show up the boot menu.

After some time you will be prompted with a menu with following options.
1. Continue
2. Troubleshoot
3. Turn off

Choose Troubleshoot, the following menu appears.

1. Refresh your PC
2. Reset your PC
3. Advanced Options

Choose Advanced Options, the following menu appears


1. System Restore
2. System Image Recovery
3. Automatic Repair
4. Command Prompt
5. Windows Startup settings

Choose Windows Startup Settings, then Click Restart.

The computer will restart and the boot menu appears. Choose “Disable Driver signature
Enforcement” from the menu.

Windows will start and you can make EKRIP Driver installation.

Note: Epson driver can be installed automatically when you connect your printer to the PC,
please remove Epson driver to avoid any communication conflict. If the Epson driver is
reinstalled again, please change the Port setting of Epson driver to “File”. This will disable the
Epson driver status monitor to avoid communication conflict.
