 Function of amplifier
 TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES – TAGUIG CAMPUS

The function of amplifier is to increase the amplitude of an input signal without

changing the parameter in time varying scale of audio signal, voltage, current, and
low power signal or in short it duplicates the input signal in larger ratio.

 MAIN COMPONENTS OF AMPLIFIER

Input jack

Pre-amp

Potentiometers

IC (INTEGRADED CIRCUIT)

Gain or control or the capacitors

The outer filter of the capacitors

Jack output

 Function of IC (Integraded Circuit)

Inside our ic we have a pre amp and flat amp which is responsible for
the voltage gain from low input to high input voltage and
potentiometer for enabling the output to be adjust in desirable level.
