The graph was plotted based on the distribution of mean CBMN frequency among

the study and control subjects. The mean CBMN frequency of study subjects was

12.94 and that of control subject was 10.5.The study subjects showed increased

mean CBMN frequency.

Among the 39 study subjects, the distribution of mean CBMN frequency

according to the age of baby was studied. The age of baby was grouped into <1

year, 1-3 year and >3 years. The highest mean CBMN frequency was observed

among those with >3 years of age (13.12).

The distribution of mean CBMN frequency of the study subjects was analysed.

The highest mean CBMN frequency (13) was observed in female babies.

Among the 39 study subjects, the distribution of Mean CBMN frequency

according to birth weight of babies was studied. The age of babies are grouped

into 1.2-1.7 kg, 1.72-2 kg and >2 kg. The highest Mean CBMN frequency was

observed among those with 1.2 -1.7 kg (13.16).

Among the 39 study subjects, the distribution of Mean CBMN frequency

according to paternal age was studied. The paternal age ranged from <40 to ≥

40. The highest Mean CBMN frequency was observed among those with ≥40

years of age (13.11).

The distribution of Mean CBMN frequency of the study subjects was analysed.

The maternal age ranged from <30 to ≥30 years. The highest Mean CBMN

frequency (13.11) was observed in the age group ≥ 30 years.

On the basis of duration of married life of the parents, the distribution of Mean

CBMN frequency was analysed. The duration of married life of parents was

grouped as <5 years, to ≥ 5 years. Among these, the highest Mean CBMN

frequency (12.96) was observed.

The Mean CBMN frequency was studied according to the history of drug

intake. Among the 39 study subjects, 11 (28.2%) subjects had the history of

drug intake and the Mean CBMN frequency was 13.25. The remaining subjects

had no history of drug intake and showed a Mean CBMN frequency of 12.82.

H/o infection

12 subjects (13.76) were observed with history of infection and their Mean

CBMN frequency was 13.07 %. 69.23 % of the subjects were observed without

infection and their Mean CBMN frequency was low (12.91). This indicates that

subjects with history of infection have increased Mean CBMN frequency.

Among the 39 study subjects, the distribution of Mean CBMN frequency

according to the number of toxoplasma gondii infection was studied. The

highest Mean CBMN frequency is 13.25 %.

7 subjects (17.94%) were observed with Rubella infection and their Mean

CBMN frequency was 13.31. 82.05% of the subjects were observed with

negative Rubella infection and their Mean CBMN Frequency was low (12.86).

This indicates that subjects with Rubella infection have increased Mean CBMN

frequency.

The Mean CBMN frequency was studied according to the CMV infection.

Among the 39 subjects, 8(20.51%) subjects had positive CMV infection and the

Mean CBMN infection was 13.58. The remaining subjects had negative CMV

infection and showed Mean CBMN frequency of 12.77.

The Mean CBMN frequency was studied according to the Herpes simplex

infection. Among the 39 subjects, 9 (23.07%) subjects had positive CMV

infection and the Mean CBMN infection was 13.58. The remaining subjects had

negative CMV infection and showed Mean CBMN frequency of 12.77.
