A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION OF E-TRIKE FROM RUSTAN SUPERCENTERS,

INCORPORATED FOR THE PEOPLE OF BARANGAY PAYATAS, QUEZON CITY

WHEREAS, Barangay Payatas is generally authorized to accept donations of real and personal
property for the benefit of its constituents, and is specifically authorized pursuant to Republic Act 7160,
otherwise known as “The Local Government Code of 1991”;

Whereas, Barangay Payatas, is one of the biggest barangay in Quezon City where monitoring
and maintenance of peace and order is very difficult due to its size;

Whereas, the barangay council is doing its best to upgrade its facilities and equipment to be in a
position to help and support its constituents in case of emergencies and/or calamities, like fire or
typhoon:

Whereas, Barangay Council Payatas, given its limited resources and budget, cannot immediately
mobilize enough funds to procure all the needed equipment and vehicles:

Whereas, Rustan Supercenters, Inc., will to donate to Barangay Payatas one (1) unit of ETrike for
its use:

Now, therefore, for and in consideration of the premises, the undersigned members of the
Sangguniang of Barangay of Barangay Payatas, Quezon City, hereby resolve as follows:

1. To receive and accept the one (1) unit of Etrike as gift and donation from Rustan
Supercenters, Inc.

2. That relative to this donation, the Sangguniang Barangay, in behalf of the people of
Barangay Payatas, Quezon City whom it represents, hereby expresses its appreciation and
gratefulness for the kindness and generosity of Rustan Supercenters, Inc.

3. To authorize Punong Barangay Manny Guarin to sign and represent Barangay Payatas
in all transaction relative to the donation.
