A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE UPDATED DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN OF
BARANGAY ______________, MUNICIPALITY OF ______________, PROVINCE OF _________________
FOR THE PERIOD OF THREE YEARS FROM __________ TO ___________.

WHEREAS, Barangay _________ of ___________ in the province of ______________________,

is mandated under RA 10121 otherwise known as the Philippines Disaster Risk Reduction and
Management Act of 2010 to organize the BDRRM committee who will spearhead the drafting, reviewing,
updating, and implementing of a three-year Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
integrating Climate Change Adaptation;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committee (BDRRMC) with
full participation of the members of the Sangguniang Barangay recognizes and supports the process of
drafting, finalizing and implementation of the updated Barangay DRRM Plan;

WHEREAS, said updated BDRRM Plan shall be the basis of and for any appropriations thereafter
to carry out and timely implement and deliver programs, projects and activities in the Barangay related
to disaster risk reduction and climate change adaption;
 NOW THEREFORE, on motion of all, duly seconded, be it.

RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED, that this body now assembled in its regular quarterly
meeting,

TO OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZE AND ADOPT THE UPDATED BARANGAY DRRM PLAN OF BARANGAY
_____________________ IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ___________________, PROVINCE OF
_____________________.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all concerned offices for their
information and appropriate action.
