RESOLUTION NO. 05

SERIES OF 2019

A BARANGAY RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 03 SERIES

OF 2017 ALSO KNOWN AS THE ANTI-NOISE ORDINANCE OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
CANDABA SPONSORED BY. HON. COUNCILOR NELSON ALONZO.

Whereas, Section 16 (General Welfare) of the Local Government Code mandates that every Local
Government Unit shall exercise the powers expressly granted, those necessary implied therefrom, as well
as the powers necessary, appropriate, or incidental for its effective governance, and those which are
essential to the promotion of the general welfare;

Whereas, the making and creation of unnecessary, inappropriate, and unreasonably loud sound
coming from Videoke/Karaoke Machines and sounds amplifying device/ equipment in the dead of the
night and from deafening, irritating, and excessive sound generated by modified tailpipes/mufflers of
motorcycles, tricycles, cars and motor vehicles has resulted to numerous complaints and public
condemnation;

Whereas, the creation of such sounds is detrimental to the health and welfare of the people it being
nuisance, a source of discomfort, inconvenience, and annoyance to the people;

Whereas, on motion of Hon. Ronillo Bermudez, Chairman of Committee on Peace and Order and
the majority members of the council gave their affirmative to adopt Municipal Ordinance No.03 Series of
2017 also known as “Anti- Noise Ordinance of the Municipality of Candaba” to protect the General
Welfare of the Inhabitants of Barangay Vizal Sto. Cristo.
 Resolved as it is hereby resolved that this resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval
and posting in conspicuous places in the barangay
