PVR Nest, the CSR arm of PVR Ltd., India’s cinema exhibition company, launches its seeding
programme – “ECO Grants- Incubating Youth Ideas” at PVR Plaza, Connaught Place. Introduced
by PVR Nest and actioned in partnership with PLAN International (India Chapter) and Centre for
Youth (C4Y) as the Secretariat, ECO Grants seeks to address the burgeoning environmental
challenges through citizen activation.

Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog said, "I am fascinated by this unique initiative by PVR Nest, PLAN
India and Centre for Youth to drive sustainability in India. ECO Grants will generate many
sustainable ideas and a huge movement among youth. ECO Grants is poised to generate great
ideas for disrupting pollution. NITI Aayog will be happy to support the sustainable solutions that
will come out of ECO Grants. We, as a generation have failed the environment. We hope the
future generation will rise to the environmental challenges as change makers.”

To increase awareness about our green efforts, we have introduced ‘ZEE is Green Studio Tours’,
where tourists can visit our green sets and get information about the environmentally-friendly
measures we have adopted. During last year, people from 18 nationalities visited our sets as a
part of this initiative.

ZEE Is Green’ is an initiative that is focused on developing the next generation of production
practices that put people and profits in sync with the planet. With this initiative, we aspire to
translate our environmental commitment into action.
