Routine Immunization Schedule for Children

At Birth BCG 0.05ml Intradermally on right upper arm
OPV0 2 drops Oral
Hepatitis-B 0.5ml Intramuscular injection on antero-lateral side of left thigh
6 weeks *Pentavalent-l 0.5ml Intramuscular injection on antero-lateral side of right thigh
Rota-l 1.5ml Oral
Pneumococcal-l 0.5ml Intramuscular injection on antero-lateral side of left thigh
OPV-l 2 drops Oral
10 weeks Pentavalent-ll 0.5 ml Intramuscular injection on antero-lateral side of right thigh
Rota-ll 1.5 ml Oral
Pneumococcal-ll 0.5 ml Intramuscular injection on antero-lateral side of left thigh
OPV-ll 2 drops Oral
14 weeks Pentavalent-lll 0.5 ml Intramuscular injection on antero-lateral side of left thigh
Pneumococcal-lll 0.5 ml Intramuscular injection on antero-lateral side of right thigh
OPV-lll 2 drops Oral
Intramuscular injection on antero-lateral side of left thigh 2.5 cm apart
IPV 0.5 ml from Pneumococcal vaccine
9 months Measels-l 0.5 ml
Subcutaneous injection on left upper arm
15 months **Measles-ll 0.5 ml
4 years DTP Booster*** 0.5 ml Intramuscular injection on upper arm
*Pentavalent includes DPT+HepB+Hib

**If the child is seen b/w 12-15 months of age 2nd dose of measles can be given if one month passed

sinse the Measles 1st dose is given.


*** Only in Punjab, still not included in National EPI policy although NITAG has endorsed.
