Mid--Year Academic Reflection

Seniors
You have finished your senior fall semester and are only a few months away from graduation!
Having had nearly four years of high school, take some time to reflect on your experience.

Thinking about your efforts and experiences in core classes since you were a freshman, what are
some of the ways you’ve evolved as a student? What has been your biggest challenge(s) in your
core classes? What are some of the most rewarding experiences you’ve had academically?
Consider examples that you may remember long after high school.

I haven't really evolved as a student at all over these years at chs. I still don’t study and I still
hate school. My biggest challenges are passing my classes. It’s hard to pass a class when you
can’t pass a test. I haven’t had any rewarding experiences academically all years. As hard as you
may find that to believe I never have. I never get a test back that I am overly proud of, I never get
a good report card sent home, and I never do good on my homework.

Looking ahead, what do you need to do during your last semester to accomplish your goals?

Looking ahead, to accomplish my last semester goals, I just need to pass my classes. All I need
to do is graduate. I don’t have any special goals past that. I only care about graduating. From
there it's all downhill. After that I just need to get a quick degree at the JC in Rosa and then I get
to start my life of work.
