Mid--Year Academic Reflection

Seniors
You have finished your senior fall semester and are only a few months away from graduation!
Having had nearly four years of high school, take some time to reflect on your experience.
My experience in high school was the best when I first started freshmen year. It has slowly
gotten worse and worse over the course of the four years.

Thinking about your efforts and experiences in core classes since you were a freshman, what are
some of the ways you’ve evolved as a student? What has been your biggest challenge(s) in your
core classes? What are some of the most rewarding experiences you’ve had academically?
Consider examples that you may remember long after high school.

Since my freshman year I have improved on a hand-full of skills to help me get through my
classes. I have came from non stop talking, not staying still for long periods of time, being a
class clown, disobeying rules, and not caring for others. To stopping all of these by my junior
year. Now when I am in class I just sit down keep my mouth shut and only talking to get
clarification or ask questions. I turn my homework in when it is supposed to be done and I have
finally read a whole book

Looking ahead, what do you need to do during your last semester to accomplish your goals?

Looking forward, I am going to join the 7th period freshman english class so that I can make up
my credits to ensure I cross the stage. I will continue to finish as many assignments that I can (on
time), focus of my teachers and show them the respect I would like in return and get as much out
of the last bit of high school that I can
