Mid--Year Academic Reflection

Seniors
You have finished your senior fall semester and are only a few months away from graduation!
Having had nearly four years of high school, take some time to reflect on your experience.

Thinking about your efforts and experiences in core classes since you were a freshman,​ ​what are
some of the ways you’ve evolved as a student? What has been your biggest challenge(s) in your
core classes? What are some of the most rewarding experiences you’ve had academically?
Consider examples that you may remember long after high school.

Thorough my time in high school there have been many obstacles that I have been
through trying to make sure that I stay on top of everything and never start to fall down. The
biggest challenge in my classes for me was trying to always stay focused in my classes. Many
times in all my classes i tend to forget to do some things or just get side tracked from everything.
The way that I get through this is i try to pay attention and get more involved in what is
happened in my classes. Academically in high school i feel like what I remember the best and
will always remember was when I would get better grades then I have ever before.

Looking ahead, what do you need to do during your last semester to accomplish your goals?
I have to make sure that I am always on top of everything and not letting things get to me
without me giving it my all. To make sure that I have people there to help me when there are
parts that I might not understand how it might be done to make sure that I complete it. Also to

do my work whenever I have the opportunity so that it does not all get bunched up all together
and I end up doing it all last minute.
