High School Academic Reflection

Fall

You are now about twenty months away from high school graduation. Over the course of those
months, you will be starting to make decisions about who you are as a young adult, where you
want to be, and what you want to do with your life beyond high school. Take a moment to reflect
on where you have been and where you are going.
Now that i am a junior going onto a senior i need to start picking up my grades and start
working hard on school so i can go to the Junior College and from there transfer to a
university where i can study business.

Think of a class that you have had success with over the course or your high school career. Why
do you think you were successful in this particular class? What did you do to help yourself?
What did your teacher do? What have you discovered about what works for you as a learner?
A class i had success in was english. I did most of my work and got a passing grade. And i
did that by finishing ay assignments and doing all of the projects on time. And what i did to
help myself get a good grade in was just following directions and turning in my
assignments.

Now think of a class that you have struggled with in some way. Why do you think you had a
harder time with this particular class? What did you do/not do that might have impacted the
experience? What might have helped?

I struggled in algebra 2 but i still passed.I feel that if i tried harder and went to after school
tutoring i could've got a better grade and learned more instead of just not doing the work
when i didn't understand it.

At this point, where do you see yourself when you graduate from high school? College, J.C.,
trade school, work world, travel,....?
