Future plans

The things Great oak high school has provided me in these past years is to find what I really

want to do with my life. With all the classes they have, I have been able to see which classes I

find easy and which ones are hard for me. I have always known I wanted to do something with

business ,numbers, or math but in my senior year it confirmed it. Great oak created a path for me

when they put me in financial math and economy this year and opened my eyes to something I

really enjoy. I knew if I chose the financial and economic path for my career it would feel more

like a hobby for me because of how much I enjoy everything with numbers, money, stocks, and

investments. Another insight this current situation has given me is how their is community

college in temecula that I can attend for 2 years and then go another 2 years to a University and

save a lot of money.

College decision:

I will be attending MSJC next fall and get a minor in economy or business

management and also will look for internships in the financial field. This will save me a lot of

money for 2 years in tuition, gas, and living expenses. I would be working at the same time to

save for my next 4 years of University and living expenses and at the same time saving up for

any future investment. After I do the 2 years I plan on attending Cal state Fullerton or UCLA that
2

are the top schools in California for Finance and business for another 4 years to get my masters

for finance. After I get my bachelors degree I plan to get a paid internship or a job in my field to

gain experience before I get my masters degree so when I finish getting my masters I can apply

to a good paying job.

Occupational change:

I don't see myself changing majors since a finance career is the only thing I'm

interested in right now. If circumstances were to change which I don't see happening then I

would change majors if I were to enjoy something else more. I would change too if i liked what I

did and the job paid more. The reason I want my masters degree is to get paid better and also to

be the best at what I do and have that accomplishment and also could use my skills to help

people and family members with their finances.

Life choices:

After I get a good paying job after I finish university I plan to work for some years

and after I save up enough money I want to travel with my friends or significant other or family.

My priorities in my life are to be financially stable enough to retire early while also being able to

support my family and live a good life like my parents gave me but without working so much.

How I plan is to do that is learn more about investing which I will with my career and job which

will teach me about stocks and other investments because i will learn more about those things

with the people I work with. My other priority is to have enough money to also help people and

maybe one day even become a business owner and provide people with a job.
