High School Academic Reflection

Spring

You are now about fourteen months away from high school graduation. You’ve had another
semester of school to grow in many ways, including academically. Take a moment to reflect on
your progress.

What academic goals did you set for yourself last fall?
Last fall I wanted to have more time for self management and self advocacy to improve my
personal skills in my life.

How successful were you in accomplishing your goals? Explain.

I was pretty successful in accomplishing my goals and in doing so I learned a lot about myself
and I have become happier, I also have learned that I need to take time to take care of my
personal needs no matter how busy my schedule is.

Has your post high-school vision changed? Explain.

I am actually still unsure of my plans after high school but I still think that I might want to go
into the JC or a 4 year college however, I still do want to travel the world during or after high
school. I also want to do a ride along with some local police officers and get involved in a
program to experience what it would be like for the career path I want to go into.

Looking forward to your senior year, what will you have to do to keep yourself on track to
achieve your future vision?

To keep myself on track to achieve my future vision, I will continue looking into the career field
I am interested in and colleges related to it and see about internships but I will also look into
other possible careers I may be interested in and keep my mind open.
