Informative Speech
An informative speech provides information about a specific subject to an audience. The aim of
an informative speech is to help your audience to understand and to remember the information you are
presenting. Students will create a five minute informative speech on a topic of their choice.

2. Demonstration Speech / Process Speech


A demonstration speech is a form of informativespeech where the speaker's primary purpose is to teach
the audience how to complete a task (orprocess), and this is largely accomplished by demonstrating the task
(or process) through a series of steps.

3. Persuasive Speech
a persuasive speech or writing apersuasive essay begins with picking the right topic. A good persuasive
speech topic is one that you can use to grab the audience's attention, inform andpersuade, and provide a
strong persuasiveargument for adopting your point of view.

4. Speech of Introduction
The introduction to your speech serves a number of significant purposes: It represents your chance to get
your audience's attention before clearly stating your topic. It gives you opportunity to explain to your audience
why your topic is important while establishing your own credibility as a speaker on this topic.

5. Keynote Speech
A keynote in public speaking is a talk that establishes a main underlying theme. In corporate or commercial
settings, greater importance is attached to the delivery of a keynote speech or keynote address.

6. Inspirational Speech
A motivational speaker or inspirational speaker is a speaker who makes speechesintended to motivate or
inspire an audience.

7. Dedication Speech
A Dedication Speech. a personal message from a person by an author to a friend dedicating some type of
a award.

8. Presentation Speech
It is typically a demonstration, introduction, lecture, orspeech meant to inform, persuade, inspire, motivate, or
to build good will or to present a new idea or product. The term can also be used for a formal or ritualized
introduction or offering, as with the presentation of a debutante.

9. Acceptance Speech
A speech that someone makes when they are accepting a prize, honour, or award. his acceptance
speech for the Nobel Peace Prize. In his acceptance speech the actor paid tribute to the 'memory of all of
the African-American actors who went before me'.

10. Contest Speech


The faculty or power of speaking; oral communication; ability to express one's thoughts and emotions
by speech sounds and gesture: Losing her speech made her feel isolated from humanity.
