Founded by alumni of Kellogg's School of Management and MIT, Claro Energy is poised to
become one of the largest Agri-Renewable company in India, leveraging on world class research
and technology. Started in 2011, it develops unique solar-powered water pumping solutions in
high power deficit, diesel dependent, agrarian regions. It has received funding from esteemed
global institutions and investors. The company is operating in a soon-to-be multi-billion dollar
market at a stage of high growth opportunities. The corporate headquarters is based out of
Saket, New Delhi with an extended office in California for finance and research support.

Job Description - Analyst

The job would require the analyst to provide an intellectual arm to the several functions within
the company. They will derive valuable and actionable insights from the volume of data that
Claro Energy has access to, due to its technology-oriented operations and management. They
will work closely with the founders and senior management, provide research and advisory
support to Claro’s operations across the country, evaluate business strategies and assist in
decision making with higher order matters. Preferred candidates would have done coursework
which is inclined towards analysis, like Economics or Mathematics. They should have great
communication skills and the ability to work in a proactive environment.

As the candidate will be working in the advisory vertical with the senior management, they will
be expected to quickly develop a holistic understanding of Claro’s business and vision.

A day in the life on an Analyst might look like -

· Operate from the founder’s office and envisage the monthly plans and objectives

· Plan the monthly or quarterly review meetings and agenda

· Analyze and secure meaningful insights from available data to aid in decision making

· Engage Investment Bankers to take forward the fund raising activities for the firm

· Communicate critical updates to the senior directors and coordinate accordingly

· Follow up on talks with foreign companies for Joint ventures or strategic partnerships.

The pay-scale will be in the range from INR 3 to 3.2 LPA. Other perks to candidates include a
