Poster Competition Rules and Regulations


A poster is a graphically based approach for presenting a work. In presenting your
topic with a poster, you should aim to use the poster as a means for generating active
discussion.
1. Poster must related to given theme
2. The participants should have Identity cards with them
3. Decision of the judges will be final
4. Caption should be mentioned on the poster. No slogan should be written
5. Reporting time for the competition is 9 A.M.
6. Competition will start at 9:30 A.M
7. Judgment of poster is totally based on the content of poster and presentation skill of
participant.
8. The size of the poster is maximum A1 Size Paper
9. Participants will receive the topics/themes in advance
10. No paper/card-sheet or drawing related material will be provided by organizers
11. There may be no mechanical or electrical devices attached to the poster
12. There may be no materials placed in front of, above, below, or to the side of the poster
13. All material must be accessible without having to lift or turn a page
14. Each entry may have only one author printed on the poster.
15. The name and affiliation of the author must be in a prominent place on the Poster.
16. There is no limitation on how many colors can be used on the poster
17. All mediums can be used (markers, crayons, pastels, paint, print etc.)
18. Original photography, magazine clippings, stencils, buttons; glue-ons may be utilized
on the poster
19. There is no specification for text/font size. Text should be of sufficient size for easy
reading at a distance
20. A group of maximum two students is allowed
21. Poster presentation may be Horizontal or Vertical, Border or non-bordered
22. No AV technology shall be permitted in the presentation of the poster

Seminar Presentation Competition


Rules and Regulations
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Students are requested to register before 12 Feb 2018. NO LATE ENTERIES


WILL BE CONSIDERED.
2. An abstract of presentation with 150-200 words must be mailed to
nikitashaha101@gmail.com by the student. The abstract must contain brief idea.
Approved abstracts are only eligible for presentation.
3. Students are requested to be present minimum 20 minutes before the scheduled
time for the presentation on the presentation day.
4. Students must compulsory carry their I-cards.
5. Entry fee for the seminar and project presentation will be 50 Rs. each.
6. A group can have maximum 2 students.

RULES :

1. Seminar must be maximum of 10 minutes. The time slot will be divided as 7


minutes for seminar and 3 minutes for questioning.
2. Project presentation will also be of 10 minutes. 7 minutes for presentation and 3
minutes for questioning. However, if the project presentation has a demo, 5
minutes will be given extra for the demo. Total 15 minutes for project
presentation with demo.
3. Seminar as well as project presentation should have a ppt i.e PowerPoint
Presentation with minimum 5 slides.
4. A separate hard-copy report of presentation with spiral binding must be
submitted on the day of presentation.
5. The soft-copy of the report of presentation must be mailed to
nikitashaha101@gmail.com

Code Quest Competition Rules and Regulations


GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Code Quest is a C/C++ coding competition that tests a participant on his/her


speed, logic, coding standards and checks if he/she has the right approach to
solve a problem.
2. Code Quest gives all the programmers out there a chance to participate
and improve their coding skills.
3. So, make yourself ready to join this national level coding contest in
INNOVISION 2K19!

ROUND 1:- TECHNICAL APTITUDE

1. The first round will consist of 15 MCQs on C/C++ and some logic
questions.
2. Fixed time of 15 mins will be provided to all the teams to solve the
MCQs.
3. No negative marking will be used while evaluation of answers.
4. No. of participants qualified for the next round will be declared on
the spot.

ROUND 2:- EFFICIENCY ROUND


1. sssThe second round will consist of simple and challenging problem
statement which has to be implemented using C/C++ programming
language.
2. Fixed time of 30 minutes will be provided to all the teams to solve
the problem.

RULES :-
 A maximum of 2 candidates are allowed per team.
 The event will consist of 2 rounds:
